LOVE CHILD closed a big gap while racing on the extreme outside in the final half mile. JI.MMIE SHANNON finished gamely. SAM MENt.EL had no mishaps. JACK RARBIT tired. A. P. BATHER, well ridden and away well, raced close up under restraint to the stretch turn, where he easily passed TWO BILLS and took a long lead, but tired and had to be hard ridden in the final drive. BIO SANDY gradually improved his position and. finishing well, passed UREENDALE and was fast training on the winner. GKKENPAI.E began slowly and was hard ridden and swerved repeatedly in the stretch. WEBSTER met early interference. BI 1 BOH showed early speed. HIGHWAY began slowly and lacked speed. TWO BILLS tired. JUNIORS PAL was cut down in the first quarter. The latter, far back in the early running, showed improved speed after going five-eighths and swerved out when closing up in the stretch. BILLY BAUGHN forced the pace and. saving ground on the stretch turn, finished fairly well. SESQUI showed the most speed to the stretch, then raced gamely to the last eighth. RAYON was done early.
