JUNE STAR drew away from GOLDEN GLORY approach;ng the turn for home and, racing well in the going, shook off BRIM and drew away into a long lead. BRUN] was in close quarters on the far turn and threatened on the stretch turn, but could not overtake the winner and was tiring badly at the end. GOLD HILLS closed a big gap in the last quarter and finished fast. TWENTY TWO SIXTY came fast after turning out of the back stretch and, squeezing through ■ n opening when straightened out for the run home, got to the front and held EUNICE ATWELL safe. The latter also moved up after going 1 r.lf the distance, but swung very wide on the stretch turn. MARTIN C. set the pace and held on fairly well. AKIMBO tired badly. MONTELLO saved ground on the turn and outfinished LOU MACK. The latter raced close up in the early stages and tired slightly after racing wide in the stretch. The others were outrun all the way.
