REFUSES 00,000 NEW YORK, N. Y., June 7.— Max Hirsch, on behalf of one of his clients, made an offer of 00,000 for H. P. Whitneys Boojum, the fast two-year-old son of John P. Grier and Elf, which has been an easy winner of his only two starts, making exceedingly fast time on both occasions. Mr. Whitney refused the offer and unless some sensational two-year-old, not yet uncovered, is brought to the races, Boojum will probably never have his position at the top of the division seriously threatened during the racing year. This offer from Hirsch, which was refused, was made some days ago. and _ g
