STEWARDS DEFER ACTION OTTAWA, Ont., June 7. — No action was taken against John Bosley, Jr., trainer of thoroughbreds owned by himself and other sportsmen, at a meeting held by the Canadian Racing Association committee at the Connaught Park Jockey Club on Friday morning. In fact, the case was not brought up for discussion, but it will likely be considered at a special meeting in the near future. Bosley was among the three that were in an altercation with Strathearn Thompson, editor of the periodical called "Hush." published in Toronto, and which took place in the club house of the Thorncliffe Park Breeders and Racing Association in Toronto last Saturday evening, following the final race on that day.
