MISS LOTTA began fast, but was taken back just before reaching the first turn, saved much ground and. holding on well when urged hard in the stretch, won with much in reserve. SIDNEY GRANT raced well most of the way and finished gamely. SALUTA raced wide into the stretch and came with a rush near the end. PASSALONG swerved out on the stretch turn. NARVA, hard urged from the start and, racing prominently in the early stages, moved up fast when straightened in the stretch, outstayed OSSIE H. The latter, away in a tangle and going wide most of the way, came with a rush in the last eighth and was going fastest at the end. The latter showed a fine effort and HUM steadily in the stretch to finish gamely. DONNAY was close up from the start and saved BQUch grm.iid CHIP was always outrun nnd had no mishaps. CHRISTIE FLANAGAN showed good early speed, but tired after reaching the last eighth. BLACKBERRY raced well for half a mile.
