i BOWIE TURF NOTES q BOWIE, Md., April 5. Jockeys McTaggart and R. Morrison were suspended for fie days for rough riding in the fourth race Friday. B. Longs Titina foaled a filly yesterday by Sir Greysteel and Marys Aunt foaled a colt by My Play at the Coldstream Stud Farm in Kentucky. Turkeys Neck has been added to the list of horses on starter Miltons schooling list. Jockey F. Dainty, who was riding in such good form at the Florida meetings, was an arrival from his home in Toronto. E. K. Bryson announced that his plans are to race on the metropolitan tracks this year and at the conclusion of the Pimlico meeting his stable will entrain for New York. Howard Bruce, owner of the steeplechaser Billy Barton, has several two-year-olds in Elmer Truemans stable. Freddie Thorndykc, who succeeded Charlie Mergler as first rider for James Healey, is at Pimlico assisting in the schooling of the big band of jumpers that trainer has there. Mergler has signed to ride the jumper that William Dupont, Jr., will race . this season. Track superintendent Ryan has erected two jumps in the infield at Pimlico, which will be used to school over. Cog-Air was claimed by R. Pollard for ,000.
