AUhlLAItlA, away forwardly, gained steadily after straightened out in the stretch and would have won in a few more strides. MAGOTIIY, in closest pursuit of the leader in the early racing and saving ground entering the stretch, finished fast and held the others safe. MOLLY IIOGAN, under pressure all the way, was unable to improve her position. PRINCESS PEUOX1DE saved ground throughout. TEA GOAVN broke forwardly. but bore out rounding the turn. BLACK LULA finished fast. HIGHLY broke slowly and was shuffled back. KOLY POLY, pinched back midway around the turn, was eased up thereafter. COG-AIR, under restraint in the early stages, moved up steadily on the outside of the leaders entering the stretch and. closing gamely under punishment, shook off ALGOL in the final fiftv yards to win going away. ALGOL, nearest in pursuit of the leader in the first half mile, took command with a rush entering the stretch and held on gamely when challenged, but tired suddenly in the final drive. CRYSTAL DOMINO acted fractiously at the post and lacked speed, being outpaced, but closed steadily and easily disposed of the others. TIIEO. ROCHESTER finished gamely and wore RAIN OR SHINE down in the last stride. The latter showed speed in the early racing. GOLD MINT and VIRADO could not get up. The latter, quickest to begin, set a fast early pace and held on tenaciously in the final drive, but could not withstand the challenge of the winner. STAND BV, outrun in the first half mile, gained steadily under a strong hand ride and outlasted the others in the final drive. INCEPTION gradually improved his position in the last quarter mile and finished going strongest of all. MY SIS followed the early pace closely, but tired in the final eighth. DESMOND safe at the end. The latter, under punishment in the early stages, was always prominent and, making a game effort in the final eighth, faltered when the final test came. FRUMPEU, well up and saving ground throughout, held on well and outlasted ENID. The latter broke well, but was permitted to drop out of contention in the early stages and, closing a big gap in the last quarter mile, was going fastest of all in the closing strides. BOCABATOXE, taken back of the earlr pace in the early stages, made a game effort when called upon, but could not keep pace with the leaders, but outlasted AVEI.LET. The latter, far out of contention for three-riuarters, closed a big gap when straightened out in the stretch. AKCTUKUS broke Rlowly and closed a good gap rounding the first turn and held on well at the end.
