DON ALVARDO, breaking from an Inside post position, was quickest to get into his stride ana opening up a good lead in the early stages, shook off WITTORA in the stretch run to win easily. ASlINALA raced well up, but was 110 match for the first pair. PRICE EDWARDS was forced to? pull up in the final drive. The others were outpaced. ROLLING STAR, showing fine speed from the start, caught AVOODFACE at the stretch turn and drew into a good lead, but just lasted to win when his jockey failed to ride him out approaching tho end. PERRIEHON was in early difficulty, but came fast on the outside in the stretch and would havo won in another stride. LADY FAD raced forwardly throughout. AVOODFACE tired badly in the stretch.1 COME ALONG finished well. TANGLEFOOT quit badly. FERRONA SETH began poorly. The latter came gamely in the stretch and was gaining on the winner with every stride. SEQUOIA PARK tired badly. AD REMMCON was in close quarters on the far turn. PROAO outbroke tho others, raced to the outside fence on the first turn, but raced to the front again on the upper turn, only to tire badly from bis early efforts.
