PRAISES RASKOB FARM " BOWIE, Md., April S. Dr. Henry J. McCarthy, who made the rounds on the farms in Maryland during the winter, reports that the band of brood mares at the Raskob farm in Centerville, Md., are a grand looking lot of individuals. There are twenty matrons on the place, all of which are due to foal. The farm comprises some 5,000 acres. There is a half mile track on the place and a covered Tan Bark ring, where the young hunters ,and thoroughbreds are shown. According to McCarthy it is one of the finest farms in this country and the show place of the section where it is located.
