LEXINGTON TURF NOTES I r- LEXINGTON, Ky., April 8. The Reuter Stables Golden Trail, by Flittergold. has been bred to Bagenbaggage and is at J. S. AViggins farm. AViggins sold a two-year-old chestnut son of Atwell and Tehera to Bruce Mclntyre. J. Lewis acted for W. TX. Cox of St. Louis in purchasing the three-year-old fillies Sheila Byrne and Fig Leaf from H. P. Head-ley. Lewis will train the pair. Jockey Jimmie Smith arrived from New Orleans and reported to AVilliam . Hurley at Idle Hour Farm. Smith reports himself fully recovered from injuries received at the Fair Grounds. Serenata foaled a chestnut filly by Cherokee at Ser-onata Stock Farm,. according to J. C. McAlee. Serenata is the dam of Jack Alexander, George McCrann, Henry Sommers, Lady Witt and Mamie OJane. Howard "Wells has placed in training the fillies Catherine S.. Elizabeth C. S., and Billie Burke, the property of J. C. Shank. They Avintered at Edward Oots farm.
