TANFORAN TURF NOTES f t s SAN BRUNO, Calif., April S. Due to their bad behavior at the post . Saturday, the horses Little Man and AAralpole have been placed on the schooling list by starter Morrisey. The following notice was posted in the secretarys office Monday morning: "Horsemen racing at Tanforan are requested to abide strictly by the laws of the state which prohibit bookmaking and wagering of any kind. Horsemen may purchase options on their horses and be within the law. AVe will appreciate any report of soliciting bets of any character. Signed : Pacific Coast Breeders Association." Red Plume, which with several other horses, were transferred from G." D. Cameron to T. J. Ogle, made his first start in the colors of his new owner in the fourtli race Monday. Lady Fad was claimed by Mrs. T. Hunt for ?S00. Beginning Tuesday, the first race started at 2:15 p. m., instead of 2 :30 p. m. Deposition, Avhich formerly raced in the colors of the Salem Stable, ran in the interests of P. AVilkerson in Uie last race Monday. Due to constant attention and working Monday, the track was much faster Tuesday than on Saturday. Johnny Coburn was an arrival. He will spend a couple days at Tanforan before departing for New York where his stable was shipped.
