FOOLHARDY, quickest to find his stride, drew clear rounding the turn and, continuing determinedly tinder punishment in the final quarter mile, outlasted NOISY MISS in the final drive. NOISY MISS, in closest attendance of the leader after straightening out in the stretch, made a game effort, .but finished greenly, which probably cost her the race. ZINN, crowded back on the stretch turn by VICE, came to the outside in the final three-sixteenths and, closing fast, was wearing down the leaders in the final strides. MY SWEETS broke fast and saved ground throughout. VICE raced greenly and tired in the stretch. FUNDINGS ntlDE raced wide the entire way. MODERN MAIDEN began slowly and was not persevered with. EASTER, slow to get going, worked her way up on the outside in the last three-eighths and, finishing gamely under punishment, outlasted COLUMBUS in the final drive. The latter, away well, followed the leaders under slight restraint until the last eighth, then drew clear in the stretch, but tired and was unable to withstand the winners challenge. MUTUAL FRIEND, a factor all the way, finished gamely and disposed of SUXVIEW in the final eighth. The latter, used up racing GUILDER into defeat, tired in the stretch. TIIEO. ROCHESTER finished well. RUEFUL, racing in her best form, gradually improved her position on the inside on the turn and, responding gamely in the filial eighth under a good hand ride, wore down the leaders to wiu going away. ZUBLEXA, used up racing CHATTERING and BLACK PATRICIA into defeat in the first three-quarters, tired in the stretch, but finished gamely under punishment. BLACK PATRICIA, rated back of the early pace, moved up fast on the stretch turn, but tired in the stretch drive. STUPENDOUS easily disposed of CHATTERING in the last eighth. The latter, In close pursuit of DIM RAY In the early stages, raced him into defeat on the lower turn and held on tenaciously when challenged. RAKED APPLE, restrained to the final quarter mile, finished gamely and easily disposed of the others. TALKY had no excuses. DIM ISA V quit. MAINSHEET went around the leaders with rush rounding the far turn and drew clear entering the stretch, then tired in the final sixteenth. FUSE OPAL, a factor throughout, held on well at the end. TALL GRASS closed a big gap from a slow start. LES ROZEUX and TUUQUOISE crowded the others going to the first turn and drew away, but tired. JOHN AV. AVEBER was shuffled hack at the start and was never prominent. JUDGE CAAERLY tired badly and quit after taking the lead on the turn into the stretch. .
