0 8 PAY ON WINNER ONLY SAX BRUNO, Calif., April S. A change in policy in the sale of options was given a try-out at Tanforan this afternoon. Henceforth only options on the winning horse will be redeemable. Holders of option tickets on the animal finishing second will receive no returns. The change was announced by the Pacific Coast Breeders Association this morning. It will result In greater returns for those purchasing an option on the winning horse. The management, when asked for a reason for the change in policy, stated that the option system was still in the experimental stage and that they felt the new system would prove much more satisfactory to the public than the oire which was In operation during the first two days of the meeting. $ : : $
