ALCIBIADES GOING WELL LEXINGTON, Ky., April 17. H. P. Head-leys crack three-year-old filly, Alcibiades, candidate for the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and the various Oaks, this morning figured in another sparkling workout when she ran a mile in 1:41, handily. She went the quarter in t24, half mile in :50 and three-quarters in 1:16. Her owner was on hand to witness the trial and he reported the arrival of a half-brother to the sterling filly. Her younger relative, brown in color, is by Apprehension and he arrived at Headleys Beaumont farm last night.
