RATTLING ON, showing a liking for the going and away promptly, went into a winning lead early, saved ground and met with no serious contention during the race. GUN MAN, hurried to a forward position, was kept under urging and was unable to thrpnten the winner. ANGRY, unable to get into a contending position iii the early stages, settled into his stride and closed gamely. SWEET CHANCE raced forwardly placed, but was guided wide, losing much ground. FULL MEASURE was never dangerous. MELTELIAN did not appear to favor the going. MAESTRO does not call for much. The latter, hard hustled, made several determined efforts to continue courageously to the end. LEADER, always well up, came gamely under stout pressure. VICE had good speed until the last eighth, when she tired. EAR FULL closed fast on the outside. MOLLY HOGAN raced evenly. JUSTICIARY was forced wide and could not get to the leaders. ZEBRA began slowly and never entered contention. CALGARY KAY could not . reach the leaders. GIANT STRIDE was gaining steadily. IMBROS raced wide. CHARLEY J. S. was never a factor. The latter showed good speed in the going, was steadied along in front, carried MUCKER out when moving into the home stretch and was holding on well in the final drive. SWINFIELD, well placed, was going fast nearing the finish. FORTUNATE YOUTH was always outrun. Will LEA WAY tired after ; a half mile. JUDGE DIXON was badly outpaced.
