COOTS, well ridden and favored by the fast early pace, responded well after straightening out In the stretch and, working his way into the lead, won drawing clear. HOT SHOT showed keen speed from the start, saved ground after reaching the turn and, holding on well, outfinished FILM. The latter, in nearest pursuit of the early pacemaker under hustling tactics, held the lead briefly in the stretch and tired in the final drive. JUDGE MURPHY raced forwardly and held oa well. REVERBERATE, easily best and forced back by DELMA DUNN on the turn, was forced extremely wide by the latter entering the stretch, but drew clear quickly and won in hand. DELMA DUNN crossed ,over sharply on the turn, exhibited good speed and held on well after going wide on the stretch turn. WATCH GIRL worked her way up gradually and headed OURNAN in tiic last strides. The latter began well, raced wide and, after reaching third place in the final eighth, began tiring. BEAUTY BELLE had early Speed. The latter suffered slightly in the first three-sixteenths, worked his way up slowly and closed with a rush. DEMON, much used keeping up, was able to save ground and held on fairly well. OUIt PAL. on the inside most of the way, raced well. MARGATE lost ground and tired in the stretch. SAUCY SUE was outrun. TRUE BOY began slowly. ALCMAN quit. The latter, well up and forced wide in the stretch, closed resolutely and wore down SUPREME SArEET in the final drive. TI12 latter lost ground most of the way, moved up fast after reaching the stretch and faltered in the final seventy yards. SUPRYSE, hustled throughout, raced well. KINCSEN began slowly. STARS AND BAItS lost much ground on the first turn, readily opened up a commanding advantage and could not withstand the winner, but held the others safe. MIKE HALL, caught in close quarters shortly after the start, lost ground and tired after moving up slightly entering the stretch. PATRICIA MARIAN quit. The others were outrun.
