TUBEROSE came strongly rounding the stretch turn, but was in close quarters on the Inside and finished full of run. DOC CONNOR ran well and held on better today. HICKMAN set a fast pace from the start and held on gamely during the stretch run, although tiring. TIMEKEEPER always held the others safe, but could never overtake the leaders. SAVEElSTAKES ran an even race. MACKS BAB3C stumbled and went to his knees when the start came, which ruined his chances. LANCHR gained rapidly in the final quarter and was going fast at the end. SMOLDERING tired rapidly in the final drive after having shown early speed. GRAYDALE prefers a longer route.
