GOLD 15UOOK moved up fast rounding the far turn, made a deter-mined challenge when called upon, but could not resist the winner. FIRST LADY forced the early pace. raced PANGUITCH into defeat and held on well. The latter showed, early speed, saved ground and bad no mishaps: CHARON quit under pressure. AVU came with a lush in the final sixteenth. IMPERIAL AIR was in close quarters Hearing the far turn. BEST MAN quit. The latter followed the pace closely and had no mishaps. ONCORA finished fast on the outside. IRISII was bumped and forced back rounding the far -turn. TALKY showed a good performance. LADY AI.L1JY closed fast. 1COSEOMAR quit badly after being in close quarters entering the stretch. RUNAWAY LASS was pinched back at the start. ASHBY came through on the inside rounding the turn, but raced wide in the stretch and then tired. . MOCKERY, well up. throughout, held-on well. EPIGRAM closed with a rnsh. JOHNNY CAMPBELL saved much ground and then quit. DAFFODIL was knocked back on the far turn. YOSAN quit. JUDGE SCHILLING displayed good speed throughout and outlasted DISTRACTION in the final strides. The latter came around the leaders entering the stretch and finished fast. EDDIE AHEARN. well up from the start, saved ground on the turns, but tired under pressure in the final sixteenth. POI.YDOR made a determined challenge entering - the stretch, but tired under his weight. SON O BATTLE showed a good performance. HIGH STRUNG, away in a tangle, was as good as left. SAAEEP OUT was away slowly. CRACK BRIGADE was not : persevered with when he quit. SIMBA was outrun. Scratched 1C070 Best Man, 103.
