INSPECTS SMITHS STRING STRINGNEW NEW YORK N Y May 6 Victor Eman uel who races under the nom de course of the Dorwood Stable returned from England and inspected the horses which trainer J P Smith has for him at Belmont Park He expressed satisfaction with their condition and before leaving left orders that Merano and a hunter be shipped to George Duller in England Mr Emanuel will leave shortly for an extended cruise on his yacht but will be on hand for the Belmont Park meeting
