SHAWNEE propped at the start and, improving his position steadily, wore down TUSKEGEE in the final drive. The latter, close up early, tired badly in the final eighth. ONCORA had no mishaps. Won ridden out; second and third easily. SEB showed high speed in the going and, drawing away into a safe lead, saved ground and was under mild urging in the last sixteenth. RED FLARE went* to the outside of ROLLIN IN entering the stretch and finished gamely. ROLLIN IN, on the inside early, tired in the last eighth as if short. PATSIE McKIM finished with a rush on the inside. KNOWLTON raced forwardly and had no mishaps. NEVER FADE raced evenly throughout. FERRARA was shuffled back after the start. QUARTER DECK outran the others to the first turn, was rated along under steady restraint and, drawing away on the far turn, had speed to spare. ARRAS followed the pacemaker under steady restraint, wa* taken to the outside entering the stretch and wore down FLYING MAX in the final drive. The latter came through on the inside turning into the back stretch and saved ground thereafter. KENSINGTON sprawled in the going and bore out slightly passing the half-mile post.
