Jockey Quackenbush is reported to have hurt his leg as a result of a fall while galloping one of his employers horses this morning. His injuries are severe. William Garth brought up a good fencer from Maryland in Will Care. The latter, which races for J. P. McGovern, beat a big band when he won the Pataptsko Steeplechase at Pimlico this spring. The following notice was handed out by the stewards: "The further entry of Fair Folly has been refused as an unmanageable and dangerous animal at the starting barrier."
