VICE-PRESIDENT TO SEE DERBY f LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 14.— Vice-President Charles Curtis, who rode quarter horses 3 in his boyhood days, and who does not need • a Kentucky Derby to attract him to the turf, of which he is such an ardent devotee, was an early arrival. He came in today with Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gann, and was met at the train by Colonel Winn and Samuel A. Culbertson, president of Churchill Downs. Later the distinguished visitors were entertained at a club house luncheon by Colonel Winn.
