FOCUS appeared beaten when she fell on the stretch turn. PURPLE LIGHT fell soon after the start. CHEROKEE MAID displayed the most speed to the turn for home, then weakened, but outlasted MARY McCLAIN. The latter raced up into a contending position at the turn for home, but tired in the stretch. WOODY LONG ran an even race. DON TINKY tired.
