Word was received in New York yesterday er- morning of a fatal automobile accident ent in Virginia Sunday, in which Mrs. Mabel bel Doggett, former wife of Sam Doggett, and ind Mrs. John OMelia were killed. The fatality lity came when the unfortunate women were motoring back from Miami, where Mrs. irs. OMelias daughter had been attending ing school. John OMelia left at once for Petersburg, Va., where the funeral services will be be conducted. John Hertz departed for Chicago on i a a business trip, but will return the latter part tart of the week. Clarence and Mrs. Buxton were hosts sts Saturday night to a dinner party of thirty irty guests to celebrate the winning of the triple of last Thursday. The dinner was served I at at their Jamaica home. G. W. "Buck" Foreman returned from •om Baltimore, where he spent the week-end. md. He stated that the permanent stalls would »uld be removed from the Bowie track and that hat the Waite starting gate would be installed. led.
