a t r r r c | i j t » READY FOR RAVENNA MEETING i RAVENNA, Ohio, June 12.— General man- J ager H. D. Shepard announced here today . that the new improvements at the Ravenna j race course will be completed within the next few days and everything will be in readiness for the forthcoming meeting, which opens June 29, and continues to July ■ 13. It was stated that the meeting may be j continued for a longer period. The official list will remain the same as last fall. William Dangman will be presiding steward, H. D. Shepard and John King associate stewards, Chester Stands presiding judge; H. Kohl and B. Held, associate judges, while Brownie Held will act as racing secretary, Herbert Kohl clerk of scales, Charlie Wilson paddock judge and official timer.
