The following riders, who recently rode at Long Branch, arrived from Toronto to augment the riding colony that is now plying its trade on the Quebec circuit of the C. R. A. They include: F. Mann, A. Diliddo, A. McKechnie, C. Phillips, G. Riley and apprentice C. Reynolds. Others are expected to arrive during the course of the meeting. The next meeting of the C. R. A. committee will be held in the club house of the Montreal Jockey Club on Friday, June 19. Jockey Reggie Cooper was fined 0 by started Marshall Cassidy in the sixth race at Connaught Park on Wednesday for using unbecoming language. Cooper was astride W. H. Denhams Vowed Vengeance at the barrier when he received the penalty. Whitey Fields is making the riding engagements for jockeys F. Dainty and R. Townrow. R. V. Boyle, who handles the racers for H. Paynes Geneseo Stable, notified the Montreal Jockey Club that he would be unable to ship his band to Blue Bonnets. John Healey is in charge of the Canadian division of the C. V. Whitney racers that are quartered at Blue Bonnets. The senior Healey is expected to arrive and inspect the band during the course of the meeting. _
