I HAVANA TURF NOTES 5 $ Jockey M. Rose arrived from New Orleans and will ride here as a free lance. Clarence Woolf, Baltimore sportsman, was an arrival here today for a lengthy visit. James Hukill, well known Paris, Ky., breeder, is a visitor for a few days. Weights for the Tourismo. Handicap will be announced tomorrow, according to the handicappers. Clarence Buxton is on the ailing list with a light touch of la grippe. J. Paley, who made his debut as an owner with Mordawn Tuesday, is from Philadelphia. He is interested in the manufacture of cigars. Mordawn was the first horse he ever owned. Paley lost his colorbearer via the claiming route.
