I LEXINGTON TURF NOTES $ Major Thomas J. Johnson, officer in charge of the remount purchasing headquarters here, today stated that the remount service is in need of several more stallions, and he hopes they can be bought and delivered immediately, so that they may be placed for the coming breeding season. The latest purchase by the remount through the local office is the imported Golden Hen, by Cheval dOr. He was standing at Runners Rest, near Lexington, and was the property of A. K. Ma-comber of Los Angeles and Paris, France. Edwin K. Thomas announced today that the books for Joseph E. Wideners Kiev and G. D. Wideners Galatian, both standing at his Timberlawn Farm, are full for this season. Harold Massys Emissary was transferred today from Miss Blanche Watsons Leisure -Hour Farm to John Muths Bridle Driv4 Farm, where he is to make the season along; with Cyclops. William Woodard, who is to serve as an official at the Fair Grounds meeting,, left today for New Orleans by motor.
