BEAUTY BRIDE began fast, showed good speed under restraint for half a mile and, wearing, down ESTABROOK when called upon, drew clear fast near the closing sixteenth and won easily thereafter. DRURY, slow to start, closed a big gap under pressure and outlasted PRINCESS NANCY. The latter dropped out of it soon after the start, raced a trifle wide while gradually improving her position and closed resolutely. ESTABROOK, sore, showed speed, but was done after five-eighths. MONKS FOX was on the inside in the final five-sixteenths. BIG BLUE began slowly, was forced wide most of the way and was never a strong factor. ARRAY began slowly and raced wide most of the way. KING COMMANDER showed speed and was raced wide when tiring. RIVET, in close quarters early, lacked speed when clear. DUANIC was outrun. The latter withstood a hard drive cramely. MISS N. CONLAN worked her way into the lead under hard urging in the stretch, but tired. OLD "SOL quit. RUBBERNECK suffered no apparent mishaps. SWEEP PAST tired badly in the final eighth. LUCK PIECE raced poorly. MUTUAL FRIEND showed early speed.
