SMALL BUT CLASSY FIELD f! s NEW ORLEANS, La., March 4. Although only a small field will face the starter for the race, the first running of the General Beauregard Claiming Stakes, at a mile and one-eighth at the Fair Grounds tomorrow should result in an interesting contest. It is to bring together such of the next to leaders as Silverdale, Prince Pest, Prince Atheling, Bar Hunter, Chokoloskee, Glastonbury and Comstockery, and on recent performances they appear well matched.
