BELL OF BOURBON hugged the rail in the stretch and, taking command in the final sixteenth, won drawing away. PATSY H. opened up a good early lead, then tired. SALONA was away slowly and tired after challenging in the stretch. VERDEVALE tired. LADY MENIFEE lost her chancs when she was pocketed on the back stretch. The others were never serious factors. PERRIEHON showed much improvement, but tired slightly after taking a short lead in the stretch. WOODEN SOLDIER was a factor throughout. MARIE O. tired in the stretch. BIG TRAIL showed speed and held on fairly well. ANIMATOR closed a gap. BONNIE BETTY was away poorly. DEEP RIVER refused to start with the others.
