DEMAGOGUES GOOD WORKOUT LEXINGTON, Ky., March 9. This was the coldest morning of the winter in Lexington, and there were flurries of snow to deepen the fall of the previous three days, but it did not prevent Hanly C. Ragans two-year-old chestnut Demagogue, by Dominant Margaret O., by Marathon, from showing a remarkably fast and good performance at the Kentucky Association grounds. Over the sand track from the stand, back up the hill to the quarter post Demagogue ran two furlongs in :22. It is considered the best move made here this year by a young thoroughbred.
