CLASSIC CHAMPIONSHIP RACE Arlington Parks Three-Year-Old Feature May Again Decide Leader of Division. From the character of the nominations received here by the Arlington Park Jockey Club for the 0,000 added Classic, feature of its thirty-day meeting in July, track officials see the probability that the mile and a quarter fixture again may be instrumental in deciding the three-year-old championship. One of the entries received is that of Wal ter J. Salmons Mad Pursuit, which had the distinction of finishing second to Top Flight in the Belmont Futurity after having won. the Sanford Stakes at Saratoga. Mad Pursuit, which also finished fourth behind Top Flight in tho Plmllco Futurity, is a halt-brother to Dr. Freeland, which won the Preakness in the Salmon silks several yars ago. Mad Pursuit Is not a candidate for the Kontueky Derby, Cat hop, owned by K. M, Eastman, of Chicago, and a half-brother of that sportsmans popular Mike Hall, was nominated for the Classic right after he finished second to ISvenlug in the Florida Derby. Alex Govdon, trainer of Mrs, Graham Fair VanderbUts Fair Stable, sent in the nawe of Sweeping Light for the race.
