LEXINGTON TURF NOTES and : Frank Cammaratta, of St. Louis, and the owner of a number of horses raced at New Orleans during the past winter, is a visitor. He inspected all of the younger horses at the Young Brothers Hinata Farm and will visit other of the Blue Grass breeding establishments during his stay. The three-year-old Flaunt, owned by the Warm Stable, and injured in his last race at New Orleans, was sent to Dunreath Farm to be turned out and trainer Cliff Porter took up the five-year-old Billy Champ, also the property of the same stable. In addition to the Kentucky Derby eligible, I Pass, a son of Thunderer and Two No Trumps, Joe Chinn has five others under preparation for racing here. They are the three-year-old Noel Wood, two juvenile colts by Terry, another by Boot to Boot, and a filly, by Black Toney. The Boot to Boot colt is from Turkey Red TJ. and is reputed to be one of the fastest youngsters here. He has been named Red Boot. The names, sires, dams, color and sex of the other two-year-olds follow: Polo, b. c, by Terry Sweep-ette; Wilkes, b. c, by Terry Genevieve Belle, and Floreda, br. f, by Black Toney Strange Ways. The horses Jouett Reed shipped from Miami unloaded in good condition. They are Parnell Bound, Princess Zelda and Traitor. Reed remained at Miami for a short rest, but is expected here next week. Some of the jockeys that checked in from the South during the past twenty four hours included Newton Barrett, Stanley "Veale and R. Morrison. The latter plans to go on to Baltimore and may do some of the riding for the H. P. Headley Stable at the Maryland meetings. After a short illness T. P, Hayes today re-1 sumed charge of his large stable at the Association course. He is conditioning about fifteen horses among which are Epithet, The Nut and others owned by Mason and Hanger.
