AGUA CALIENTE NOTES I $ J. D. Mikel purchased the contract on apprentice C. King late Thursday afternoon. The lad, who is one of the apprentices at Agua Caliente, was developed by C. B. Irwin, who sold his papers to Mikel. The useful sprinter Phillip, from the stable of Benny Creech, died this morning from bipod poisoning.
