AMERICAN DEBUT AT AURORA AURORA, 111., May 13.— Sherab, the grey English four-year-old, which will make his first start in America in the Century of Progress Handicap at Exposition Park, Aurora, Saturday, raced nine times in England as a three-year-old and was never unplaced. He is by Tetratema, from the mare Sherry II., and is owned by Chapell Brothers, packers, of Rockford, 111. Chapell Brothers, who entered the racing business last season, have a number of imported horses in their stable, but Sherab is considered the best of the lot. They paid a large price for the foreign horse last season and expect him to repay them for their expenditure during the coming season. Sherab has been working well, his most recent gallop being five furlongs in 1:00*-, on Friday morning. The majority of his starts in the old country were on the turf.
