Eastman, of Chicago, is going along steadily in his preparation for racing and Taylor hopes to have him under colors at Washington Park. This youngster has a dark brown coat and has every mark of a runner and stayer. Bruises suffered in his hard fall from Evergold yesterday forced Willie Garner to remain out of colors today. Clyde Van Dusen plans to ship the Dixiana Stable, among the largest here, to Washington Park about the middle of next week. If Parfait turns in a good performance here Monday she will be left behind to carry the Dixiana colors in the Kentucky Oaks. D. E. Stewarts Dry Purchase was badly shaken up in a fall while schooling at Churchill Downs this morning. The Southland Stables Disturb, Real Pard-ner and All Upset were sent to the Silver Lake Farm, where they will be turned out. Trainer John Daniels will move on to La-tonia with the Southland horses immediately after the close here. J. G. Chinn has taken over La Feria and Journeys End to train for F. A. Wehle. Jack Howard was advised of the arrival of two more foals at his Rookwood Farm. They are a chestnut filly by Greenock — Dicks Daughter and a bay filly by Saxon — Princess Errant. Both mares go to Greenock. Adobe Post, Hoops, and Cold Check, start-i ers in the Kentucky Derby here last Satur-! day, were breezed this morning. Cold Check went three-eighths in :35J5 and Adobe Post and Hoops a like distance in :37%, each. Jockey W. Moran was suspended for five days by the starter for disobedience at the post. «
