« t SPORTSMANS PARK NOTES ] $, — # Elmer Johnson claimed Harum Scarum out of the seventh race at Sportsmans Park Thursday for ,000. J. H. McDonald, who recently purchased Cloido, vanned the racer over from Aurora and he will be under his colors here in his next engagement. Jockey R. Cheatham, who is affiliated with the stable of W. C. Weant, had his first mount of the meeting on Frankie Mae : in the opening race Friday. M. O. McDowell, who is doing missionary work for the Bainbridge meeting, distributed the condition books among the horsemen. Jockey T. May, under contract to Frankie Seremba, will depart tonight for Bainbridge. ■ Ex-jockey D. Hardy, who will handle Mays i book, will accompany the rider. Apprentice Ambrose C. Coffman, who i hails from Lafayette, Ind., and who is under contract to Lee Grieves, had the first mount : of his career when he rode Princess Jane l in the second race Friday. The youngster has had two years experience galloping r, horses and can scale as low as ninety-two l pounds. Trainer H. E. Brown announced that Mr. . F. E. Moore will dispose of all the horses he I is racing at Sportsmans Park with the exception - of two.
