1 PIMLIC0 TURF NOTES $ € Charley Casey is shipping the Le Mar Stock Farm horses to New York tomorrow. Johnny Gilbert has ridden seventeen winners during the meeting. He was up on four of the Glen Riddle Farms horses Saturday, but cancelled mounts on outside horses due to his eye, which was recently operated upon, bothering him. George Conway, popular trainer of the Glen Riddle Farms horses, will ship twenty-three thoroughbreds to Belmont Park tomorrow. W. L. Brodie shipped Louis Merryman and others of his stable to Canada last night. A. Williams is the first horseman to file an entry for Hagerstowns opening program. He listed Alpine Girl with race secretary Bronnan this morning. There are thirty-seven horses on the | schooling list with the adding of Bohemian j Grove, Mynah, Washout and Scotch Blossom. Jack Campbell, race secretary at Iiurel, j who has been assisting Frank J. Bryan 1 here, leaves Sunday for Canada. Due to placing judge William Doyle being sick, Herman P. Conkling of Baltimore has been engaged to fill the vacancy during the Hagerstown meeting, which opens Tuesday. Jess Bennett, custodian of the jockeys room at Hagerstown, is taking up the following riders: Vernon Arthur, J. Longo, Charlie Jackson, Johnny Pierce, Joe Guerra, N. Brooks, R. Holland. N. Wall. R. Laurin. W. Magner, Noble Godfrey, Joe Serio and A. Prain. Nat Ray shipped ten horses to Canada, at the conclusion of this meeting. Dr. J. Fred Adams, who operates the Glen Wild Stud at Catonsville. Md.. states he will ship his horses to Washington Park next week. Frank J. Bryan distributed nomination blanks for the forty-second meeting of the Eastern Horse Club, to be held June 15 and 17. inclusive, at Brookline, Mass. He also distributed nomination blanks for the sixth annual meeting to be held June 18 at Fram-ingham Centre. Mass. Ex-jockey Fritz Weiner, who has been training W. B. Yeigasons horses, has turned them out on Beckers farm.
