NAHUNTA, quickest to start and hard ridden from the start, saved ground and outlasted NUTTING under hard urging. The latter, a factor from the start, continued stubbornly when placed to punishment. ALEETA, forced to go to the outside of the leaders, finished gamely. SYRINX did not menace the leaders. MARION T. lacked earlv speed. DONNA LINDA closed a gap. BUSY IKE raced wide on the turn. BERTRANO, hard ridden from the start, overtook PETURNAL in the stretch, bore over on the pacemaker when taking command and drew out steadily under urging. PETURNAL showed good speed for half a mile. NEMERC met early interference, came through leaving the back stretch and showed a good performance. SEEMEGO finished gamely. TOWN SQUARE was outrun. ROYAL DURBAR was held safe. GOOD FAIRY showed early speed. GAMMA DELTA bolted to the outside on the turn. TIGER CAT was pulled up soon after the start. PLAIN BEN, racing close to PLUCKY GIRL, displaced the latter after three quarters and continued resolutely under urging to the end. PLUCKY GlRL continued gamely after being overtaken and was wearing down the winner. WORTHINGTON moved up strongly leaving the back stretch, drew up on practically even terms with the winner, but bore out in the last eighth. TREWS worked his way up gamely. TUFFY G. closed a big gap. LOUGH PORT, a quick starter, raced MADAME SNOB and ILCHESTER into defeat and foueht it out gamely. BALLYGRAN, hard ridden throughout, finished gamelv MADAME SNOB tired. DAISABURO, forwardly placed and racing under steadying restraint for the first three-quarters, moved up stoutly when released from restraint, reached the pacemaker at the final eighth pole and, stoutly urged, drew out slowly approaching the finish. PENCADER displaced PIPEDREAM without effort, but was unable to meet the winners effort through the stretch run. OPEN HEARTH, unprepared for the start, was sent into contention on the outside on the back stretch, saved much ground through the final drive and closed stoutly. GARLIC finished full of run after trailing for seven eighths. ANNTMESSIC had no excuses. PIPEDREAM went well for three-quarters. Scratched— 705073Blaze White, 105. SIXTH RACE— 3-4 Mile. Won driving; second and third the same. • WISE COUNT rushed to the front in the opening eighth, raced GALA FLIGHT into submission, saved ground, but was forced to be kept under pressure to stall off BLACK BOARD. The latter, outrun early, swung to the outside for the final drive and closed resolutely. GALA FLIGHT displayed good early speed and continued willingly when forced to a drive. GUIDE RIGHT saved ground the entire trip, but could not threaten the leaders. JOHNNY went well for five eighths. FERVOR was outrun and was never dangerous under his impost. The others were held safe. TARNISH, sluggish in the early racing, moved up in the final half mile and, coming resolutely when taken to the outside for the stretch drive, was up to win in the closing sixteenth. JODHPUR went into contention with a rush, took command at the final eighth post, but tired near the end. ANGRY LASS worked her way up on the inside and closed gamely. TULACH ARD was used up racing TUSCAN KNIGHT into defeat and tired badly. MARGARET Mc, rated in a forward position, was not good enough. SPANFAIR was forced wide all the way.
