The latter saved much ground in the stretch and finished fast on the inside. ALL FORLORN raced into early contention and raced gamely to the end. STAMBUL went wide on the stretch turn, but finished well. CRUCIAL TEST quit badly after going half a mile. DAVIDS OWN showed early speed. BILL LUTZ was racing well at the finish. DISTRESS SIGNAL saved ground in the stretch. MAILLIW was never a factor. ONE LONG HOP showed early speed. DECEPTIVE tired badly in the final eighth. SUDDEN met interference. IRISH could not improve his position.
