• 1 WASHINGTON PARK NOTES t ♦ ♦ With only a week remaining before the opening of the Washington Park meeting next Monday, horses are reaching the Homewood course in large numbers. Among the latest arrivals are the horses of N. W. Churchs Northway Stable, which had been campaigned on the Pacific Coast. Plucky Play was included in the Northway Stable consignment. Twenty-one horses to be campaigned at Washington Park by the Idle Hour Stock Farm were expected to reach the course Monday afternoon, according to Tom Young, track superintendent. W. Hurley will bring this stable. Other scheduled arrivals include sixteen in the Coldstream Stud outfit, in charge of W. B. Mitchell, sixteen in Salmons Mere-worth Stud in charge of Jack Pryce, and twelve owned by Admiral Cary T. Grayson, heretofore trained by John Lowe. I ■ i r e t c e a ,1 a f 6 i, -
