1 HAWTHORNE TURF NOTES 4- $ Jockey Frank Chiavetta, who was suspended for ten days, may not be able to resume riding when his suspension terminates, due to a wound on his chin, which was inflicted when he was bitten by the horse On Sir. Dr. J. M. Kaiser reports that it was necessary to destroy the five-year-old horse Rushing, which raced in the interest of T. P. Krick and Son. It was found that a fractured pastern developed during the running of his last engagement. Apprentice W. Saunders had his first mount since-being thrown from Hyannisport when he rode Captain Ed in the seventh race Wednesday.
