LILAC BLOOM moved up fast when urged, withstood a long and hard drive gamely and outlasted CLIFTONS QUEEN. The latter, probably best, began slowly, but gained fast after a quarter, but, taken into the deepest going in the stretch, closed fastest of all. BONNIE CAP, ?ay fast, took a good lead for half a mile, was taken wide by TRANSCRIPT and tired. The latter showed good speed to the stretch. ANNA ADELIA failed to be a factor.
