LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS Hank Mills drew away from his rivals last week, increasing his lead in victories over Silvio Coucci to eight. His score for the week was seven winning races, while Coucci, with only four mounts, was unable to put across a winner. J. Gilbert rode four winners and held safely to third place, although G. Elston made a slight gain by winning five races. A. Robertson was the weeks star, however, for he rode ten winners and passed three other jockeys to go into fifth place in the standing.
