1 SPORTSMANS PARK NOTES t Throughout the period of the Sportsmans Park meeting Francis Dunne will accept entries and scratches at Hawthorne. Scratch time there will be 8:15 or fifteen minutes earlier than at Sportsmans Park. The large stable R. E. Hefferon will race here for Alderman J. J. Coughlin moved over from Lincoln Fields this morning. A. Swenke brought his string over at the same time. The horses C. E. Davison will campaign here were vanned from Lincoln Fields Sunday. Davison may purchase or lease a small farm near Chicago and there turn out about ten of his horses following the close here. Starter T. J. Brown made a late change in the starting equipment and is using Bahr gates for all starts. The Bahr devices in the chutes are permanent, while another complete and movable series of stalls is used for the starts on the main track.
