LONG BRANCH TURF NOTES f W. J. Donohue will ship the Hastings and W. H. Wright string to Laurel at the conclusion of the Long Branch meeting. Downfall, Grassbroom, Kulaman, Long Run, Troy Maid and Happy Warrior are the latest additions to the schooling list. The following horses will not be allowed to start during the Long Branch meeting owing to their unruly post manners: Doubloon, Pelorus, Tuberose, Plain Ben, Playabit, Horatia, Dusty Miller, Ladykin, Frigid Frosty, Zion, Maurice, The Afghan, Indian Witch, Getgoin and Grand Duchess. It has been reported that the plater Prompter has been .estroyed at the Griffith farm located near Rochester, N. Y. A. Pollard is making the engagements for jockeys J. Cochlin and C. Scott.
