QUINIELA FOR JEFFERSON PARK COmLNSVILLE, 111., Oct. 14. The quin-iela, or one-two system of wagering which was introduced during the Fairmount meeting and which has proven very popular will be in use during the Jefferson Park meeting, according to announcement of Robert S. Eddy, Jr., general manager. "There will be seven races on week days and eight on Saturday at Jefferson Park and. during the week the quiniela will be used for the seventh race and on Saturday for the eighth race. It has proven very popular at Fairmount Park and I believe it will gain the same popularity at New. Orleans," said Mr. Eddy. Mr. Eddy stated that he had plans for several more features for the Jefferson Park meeting and that the plant was now being made ready for the long meeting, which opens Thanksgiving Day.
