BUYS EDWARD SIMMS HORSES NEW YORK, N. Y Oct. 29. Col. Maxwell Howard, through his trainer Earl Sande, purchased the entire stable of race horses in training at Belmont Park from Edward Simms, owner of the famous Xalapa Farm. The following named horses, Resurrection, St. Stephens, St. Hubert, Miss Snow, True Romance and Mind the Time were transferred to Colonel Howards stable Friday and will, in the future, be trained and be under the management of Earl Sande.
