GOVERNMENT CONTROL BODY TORONTO, Ont., Oct. 29. Representatives of Ontario track owners and a committee of the Thoroughbred Breeders Association of Canada met in the King Edward Hotel Friday morning and the following proposition was put before the track interests: That a government control body be formed to be known as the Canadian Racing Associations or by some other name, and to include representatives of the tracks and of the Breeders Association. The present Canadian Racing Associations, which has jurisdiction over Woodbine Park, Thorn-cliffe Park, Fort Erie and Hamilton, in Ontario, is holding a special meeting to consider this proposal on November 7 and will report back to the Thoroughbred Breeders Association.
